Important Notice to All Contractors Regarding Testing

Effective August 5, 2025, all trade examinations administered by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) will transition to PSI Services LLC (PSI). Applicants can begin scheduling with PSI on July 16, 2025. All examination scheduling and payment will be managed directly through PSI.

This change will streamline the examination process and provide examinees with enhanced scheduling options and testing resources. PSI offers a wide network of testing centers, and more specific information on these locations is available through PSI’s registration portal. Candidates who have been approved for testing by LSLBC will receive an eligibility letter from PSI containing information on registering for an account and scheduling exams.

Once a test is selected, a Candidate Information Bulletin will be available at the upper right section of the screen.
